SEBI Grade A Recruitment Timeline

SEBI completed the recruitment in several stages. The timeline below explains the process clearly.

Phase 1 Examination

SEBI held the Phase 1 examination on 10 January 2026. After that, it announced the result on 30 January 2026. It then opened the Phase 1 marks page on 4 February 2026.

Phase 2 Examination

Qualified candidates took the Phase 2 examination on 21 February 2026. Later, SEBI announced the Phase 2 result on 27 March 2026.

Interview and Final Selection

Candidates who cleared Phase 2 attended the interview. SEBI then published the selected-candidate list on 23 June 2026.

Afterward, it shared the cut-off details on 10 July 2026. Finally, candidates received access to their Phase 2 and interview marks on 13 July 2026.

Streams Covered in SEBI Grade A Recruitment

The recruitment covered seven streams:

  • General
  • Legal
  • Information Technology
  • Research
  • Official Language
  • Engineering—Electrical
  • Engineering—Civil

Therefore, candidates should check the result and cut-off that apply to their own stream.

SEBI Grade A Cut-Off 2026

SEBI published detailed cut-off information on 10 July 2026. The notice included Phase 2 cut-offs and final-selection data.

In addition, the document showed category-wise and stream-wise details. It also included the minimum marks secured by the last selected candidate.

For accurate figures, check the official SEBI cut-off notice. Do not treat expected or coaching-based cut-offs as official data.

Important Note About the Old Download Deadline

Some older articles mentioned 21 February 2026 as the last date to download the scorecard. However, that date cannot apply to the final scorecard.

SEBI opened the final marks page on 13 July 2026. Therefore, the February deadline belonged to an older Phase 1 update.

For this reason, do not publish 21 February 2026 as the final-scorecard deadline unless SEBI confirms it in a new notice.

What to Do If the Scorecard Does Not Open

A login or loading problem can occur for several reasons. Try these fixes in order.

Check Your Details

First, compare your roll number, registration number and date of birth with your application record. Even a small typing error can block access.

Refresh the CAPTCHA

Next, refresh the CAPTCHA if the code looks unclear or expires. Then enter the new code carefully.

Clear Browser Data

Sometimes, old browser files prevent the latest page from loading. Therefore, clear the browser cache or open a private window.

Change the Browser or Device

You can also try Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari. If the problem continues, use another phone or computer.

Try Again Later

Heavy traffic may slow the SEBI website. In that case, try again during a less busy period.

Open the Latest Link

Finally, make sure you opened the result entry dated 13 July 2026. Older links may lead to the Phase 1 marks page.

What to Do After Checking Your Marks

Once you view the scorecard, take these steps:

  • Download the scorecard
  • Save a digital copy
  • Print one copy
  • Compare your marks with the official cut-off
  • Check the final selection list
  • Keep your login details private
  • Follow new instructions on the SEBI website

Selected candidates should regularly check the official Careers page for joining or document-related updates.
