RRB JE City Intimation 2026: Exam City Slip Link

RRB JE City Intimation 2026 is expected to start on 17 October 2026. The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) plans to share exam city details before the Junior Engineer CBT 1 exam.

According to recent reports, RRB will hold the exam in late October 2026. The recruitment covers 4,029 posts under CEN 04/2026.

Once the link opens, candidates can check their exam city, date, and shift. They will need their registration number and login details.

However, the city slip is not an admit card. Instead, it helps candidates plan their journey before the exam.

Latest Update – 17 October 2026: Reports suggest that the city slip may come out today. However, we have not yet confirmed that the official download link is active.

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

First, open https://rrb.indianrailways.gov.in/.

Then, choose your regional RRB website.

Step 2: Find the City Slip Link

Next, look for the RRB JE CBT 1 City Intimation 2026 link.

The website may show this link under CEN 04/2026.

Step 3: Enter Your Login Details

Now, enter your registration number.

Then, enter your date of birth or password, as the website asks.

Also, complete the captcha if needed.

Step 4: Check Your Exam City

After you log in, check your exam city and date.

Also, review your exam shift if the portal shows it.

Step 5: Save Your City Slip

Finally, save the slip on your phone or computer.

You can also print a copy for personal use.

However, remember that the city slip does not replace your admit card.

• Exam City: The city where you will take the exam.
• Exam State: The state of your exam city.
• Exam Date: Your CBT 1 exam date.
• Exam Shift: Your exam shift.
• Reporting Time: When you should reach the centre.
• Gate Closing Time: The last time for entry.
• Exam Start Time: When the exam begins.

However, some details may appear only on the admit card.

However, candidates must follow the timings on their own admit cards.

First, check your reporting time.

Next, plan your journey to the exam centre.

Also, leave early to avoid traffic and delays.

Most importantly, reach the centre before the gate closes.

Otherwise, you may miss the exam.

Therefore, candidates must download their admit cards separately.

1. First, visit the official RRB website.
2. Next, find the RRB JE Admit Card 2026 link.
3. Then, enter your login details.
4. After that, check your exam centre details.
5. Finally, download and print your admit card.

Also, read all exam rules before leaving home.

Heavy traffic can slow down the RRB website.

First, check your internet connection.

Then, refresh the page.

If the issue continues, try again later.

Check your registration number carefully.

Also, use the correct date of birth format.

If the page asks for a password, enter your account password.

Sometimes, the website may reject the captcha.

Therefore, refresh the captcha and enter the new code.

First, update your browser.

Then, try Chrome, Firefox, or Edge.

You can also clear your browser cache.

First, check if RRB has opened the link for your exam date.

Next, log out and log in again.

If the problem remains, contact the official helpdesk.

However, check the latest official notice before calling, as the helpline may change.

Also, never share your password or OTP with anyone.

First, make sure you know your exam date and shift.

Also, check your reporting time.

Next, find the best way to reach your exam city.

If you must travel far, book your tickets early.

Also, allow extra time for delays.

Prepare your valid photo ID and other papers.

Then, check your admit card for the final document list.

Once you get the admit card, check the full centre address.

After that, plan your route to the centre.

Finally, use the remaining days for revision.

Also, take mock tests to improve your speed.

As a result, you can feel more ready for the exam.

The exam lasts 90 minutes.

Also, the standard JE CBT 1 pattern has negative marking. For each wrong answer, candidates lose one-third of the marks for that question.

Therefore, answer questions carefully and avoid blind guesses.

• First, revise key Maths formulas.

• Also, review basic Science topics.
