The SSC MTS Havaldar Result 2026 was declared by the Staff Selection Commission on 3 August 2026. Candidates who appeared in the Computer-Based Examination can now check the Havaldar result PDF through the official SSC website.

SSC has provisionally shortlisted 8,071 candidates for the Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test. The result PDF contains the names and roll numbers of candidates selected for the next recruitment stage.

• Date of birth in tie cases

Therefore, SSC has not prescribed one common Havaldar cut-off for every candidate. Applicants must check the row corresponding to their category, CCA and post preference.

For example, the cut-off for a UR candidate under one CCA may differ from the cut-off applied under another CCA. Candidates should not compare their marks with an unofficial overall cut-off.

When two or more candidates obtained equal aggregate marks in Session II, SSC applied the following rules in sequence:

1. Higher normalised marks in General Awareness in Session II
2. Higher total normalised marks in Session I
3. Older candidate according to the date of birth
4. Alphabetical order of candidates’ names

SSC used the next rule only when the preceding rule could not resolve the tie.

Shortlisted candidates must now appear for the Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Standard Test.

SSC will publish the PET/PST schedule separately. The notice is expected to provide:

• Physical-test date
• Reporting time
• Test centre
• Call-letter instructions

Candidates who fail PET or PST will not remain eligible for final selection as Havaldar.

The PST checks the height, chest or weight standards prescribed for the Havaldar post.

Physical Standards for Male Candidates

A height relaxation of five centimetres applies to:

• Garhwalis
• Assamese
• Gorkhas
• Members of Scheduled Tribes

Physical Standards for Female Candidates

Eligible Garhwali, Assamese, Gorkha and Scheduled Tribe candidates may receive:

• Height relaxation of 2.5 centimetres
• Weight relaxation of two kilograms

Candidates must carry valid supporting documents when claiming a physical-standard relaxation.

The notification provides limited PET/PST exemptions for permissible disability categories.

Any walking exemption remains subject to a certificate from a government medical officer or medical board confirming that the candidate cannot complete the walking test.

Similarly, candidates seeking PST relaxation must carry the prescribed documents to the PET/PST venue.

The official notice also states that regional offices had debarred 169 candidates for various reasons. Their roll numbers appear in a separate list issued with the result documents.
