CCRUM Selection Process 2026
The selection process varies according to the category and requirements of the post.
Group A Selection Process
Candidates applying for Group A posts must complete:

- Staff Car Driver
- Any other post for which CCRUM prescribes a skill test
Candidates who qualify in the applicable skill test are considered for final selection according to their CBT merit.
Hindi Assistant Selection
Hindi Assistant has a different 100-mark examination structure:
- Objective CBT component: 70 marks
- Descriptive translation examination: 30 marks
The descriptive translation paper is part of the marked examination scheme. It should not be treated as the same type of qualifying skill test prescribed for LDC, Stenographer or Staff Car Driver.

The CBT questions are bilingual in English and Hindi. Language and translation components follow the specific requirements of the relevant post.
CCRUM Negative Marking
A deduction of 0.25 marks applies to each incorrect answer in the CBT.

The Lower Division Clerk typing test is mandatory and qualifying in nature.
