📌 SSC Hindi Translator Vacancy Details 2025

This recruitment drive aims to fill approximately 437 vacancies in the following roles:

  • Junior Hindi Translator
  • Junior Translator
  • Junior Translation Officer
  • Senior Hindi Translator
  • Senior Translator
  • Sub-Inspector (Hindi Translator)

All posts are classified under Group ‘B’ Non-Gazetted.

📋 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates are advised to refer to the detailed SSC notification available on the official website for post-wise qualifications and age limits. However, basic eligibility includes:

  • Educational Qualification: Master’s degree in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory or elective subject at the degree level.
  • Age Limit: 18 to 30 years (as of the prescribed cut-off date). Age relaxation applies to reserved categories as per government norms.

🧪 SSC Hindi Translator 2025 – Selection Process

The selection will be conducted in two stages:

  1. Paper-I (Computer-Based Test – Objective Type)
    • Includes multiple-choice questions
    • Negative marking of 25 marks for each incorrect answer
  2. Paper-II (Descriptive)
    • Only candidates shortlisted in Paper-I will be eligible
    • Focuses on translation and essay writing in Hindi and English.
