In a major stride toward enhancing India’s maritime and infrastructure capabilities, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday officially commissioned the Vizhinjam International Seaport, a state-of-the-art transshipment hub in Kerala, constructed at a cost of ₹8,867 crores.
