Home » Operation Sindoor: India Strikes Terror Camps in Pakistan and PoK

In a decisive move against terrorism, the Indian Armed Forces launched ‘Operation Sindoor’, targeting multiple terror camps across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (PoK) in the early hours of Wednesday, 7 May 2025.

According to the Indian government’s official statement, the operation was precise, non-escalatory, and did not target any Pakistani military facilities. Instead, the airstrikes were aimed at infrastructure used by terrorist groups banned globally, including Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), and Hizbul Mujahideen.

Key Highlights of Operation Sindoor

  •  Nine high-value terror targets were successfully hit across Pakistan and PoK.
  • No Pakistani military bases were involved or damaged.
  •  The strikes took place before 1:44 am on May 7, 2025.
  •  The mission was measured, focused, and intended to prevent future cross-border attacks.
  • All strikes were carried out with pinpoint accuracy, with zero collateral damage reported.
