Science syllabus designed by CBSE has been able to put several crucial concepts and basic understanding of all three subjects – Physics, Chemistry, Biology.

Concepts like Light, Friction, Sound, Force and Pressure which creates a basic outline of understanding Physics. Similarly, Topics like Reproduction in Animals, conservation of plants and animals and microorganisms are concepts of Biology. Coal and Petroleum, Combustion are concepts of Chemistry.

 

CHAPTER 01Talks about agricultural practices for production and advancement of technologies for better production.
CHAPTER 02Gives knowledge about different microbes as bacteria, fungi, algae, etc.
CHAPTER 03Natural resources are major part of our science explained in this chapter.
CHAPTER 04The chapter talks about the importance of oxygen and process of Combustion.
CHAPTER 05Conservation is crucial for our environment and the chapter explains the importance of conserving plants and animals.
CHAPTER 06This chapter talks about the concept of Biology – Reproduction.
CHAPTER 07Continuing Biology with the concept of Adolescence.
CHAPTER 08This chapter explains the practical concept of force and pressure. The chapter starts the concepts of Physics.
CHAPTER 09Continuing the previous part of physics with introducing the term Friction. Most important and practical concept of Science.
CHAPTER 10Introduction to basics of Sound.
CHAPTER 11Introduction to Electric Current and its effects.
CHAPTER 12Natural Phenomena of lightening, rubbing, charging etc.
CHAPTER 13Introduction to the basics of Light.

 

This CBSE syllabus of Science combines the ability of knowledge and understanding of basics of Science for the students of Class 8. Introducing Science with all three segments of Physics, Chemistry and Biology in CBSE Class 8 will help students to expand their knowledge of real environment around.
