📌 Section A: Experiments (Electricity & Magnetism)

  1. Determine resistivity of wires using a volt-ampere graph.
  2. Find resistance using a meter bridge.
  3. Verify laws of series and parallel combinations of resistors.
  4. Determine galvanometer resistance (half-deflection method).
  5. Convert a galvanometer into a voltmeter or ammeter and verify.
  6. Find frequency of AC mains using a sonometer.

  1. Measure resistance & impedance of an inductor.
  2. Use a multimeter to measure voltage, current, and resistance.
  3. Assemble a basic household electrical circuit.
  4. Complete a given electrical circuit using components.
  5. Study potential drop variation with wire length.
  6. Identify incorrect connections and correct an open circuit diagram.

📌 Section B: Experiments (Optics & Modern Physics)

  1. Determine focal length of a concave mirror using object-image distance method.
  2. Find focal length of a convex mirror using convex lens.
  3. Use lens formula to find convex lens focal length (graph method).
  4. Plot angle of deviation vs angle of incidence for a prism.
  5. Use a traveling microscope to determine refractive index of glass.
  6. Determine refractive index of a liquid using mirror methods.
  7. Plot I-V characteristics of a p-n junction in forward and reverse bias.

  1. Identify components like diodes, resistors, and capacitors.
  2. Test diode/LED functionality using a multimeter.
  3. Observe how light intensity affects an LDR.
  4. Study refraction and lateral shift in a glass slab.

  6. Analyze image formation by lenses and mirrors.
  7. Combine lenses to achieve a specific focal length.
